You know I was right there with you until you started suggesting that the protesters be arrested. What do you think this is? Soviet Russia?
The guy's a criminal and in this country illegally. Therefore, he should be stuffed in a box and put on the slowest transport home. Given the complications of his illness however, as Good Canadians, we should patch him up before we send him packing. So, I don't begrudge him his need for our medical services (even criminals deserve universal health care) but once he's good to move, he should be outta here.
As I understand it though, his doctors are saying he's unfit for travel, so if sending him to India == death, I figure he should stay 'till that's no longer the case.
